About Aldo Tura

Aldo Tura (1909-1963) was an Italian furniture and decorative arts designer known for his exquisite craftsmanship and unique style. Born in Brianza, Italy, Tura developed a passion for design from an early age. He studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he honed his skills in painting and sculpture.

In the 1930s, Tura established his own workshop in Lombardy, specializing in furniture production. He quickly gained recognition for his innovative approach to design, combining traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. Tura's creations were characterized by their use of luxurious materials, such as parchment, lacquer, and brass, which he skillfully transformed into elegant and timeless pieces.
