About Arturo Pani

Arturo Pani (1915-1981) was a prominent Mexican furniture and decorative arts designer. He was born on November 16, 1915, in Mexico City, Mexico. Pani is widely recognized for his significant contributions to the mid-century modern movement in Mexico.

After completing his studies in architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Pani embarked on a successful career as an architect. However, his passion for design and craftsmanship led him to delve into the world of furniture and decorative arts.

In the 1940s, Pani established his own design studio, which quickly gained recognition for its innovative and elegant creations. Drawing inspiration from Mexican traditions and combining them with modern aesthetics, Pani's designs showcased a unique
