In the 1930s, Loew collaborated with renowned architect and designer Paul Frankl, contributing to the iconic Skyscraper furniture series. This collaboration marked the beginning of Loew's career in furniture design and set the stage for his future contributions to the field. Loew's designs were characterized by clean lines, geometric forms, and a focus on functionality. He embraced the principles of modernism and sought to create furniture that blended seamlessly with contemporary living spaces. His work often featured innovative materials, such as metal and glass, which added a sense of modernity and sophistication to his designs. Throughout his career, Loew worked with various prominent manufacturers, including the renowned Herman Miller Furniture Company. His designs for Herman Miller, such as the "Loewy" chair, showcased his ability to create aesthetically pleasing and comfortable furniture that met the demands of the modern lifestyle. In addition to furniture design, Loew also explored other areas of decorative arts, including ceramics and textiles.
