About Jules Leleu

Jules Leleu (1883-1961) was a renowned French furniture and decorative arts designer. He is widely recognized as one of the leading figures of the Art Deco movement during the early 20th century.

Born on September 14, 1883, in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, Leleu developed a passion for design and craftsmanship from a young age. He initially trained as an architect, studying at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. However, his interest soon shifted towards furniture and interior design.
