Frank Ligtelijn is a renowned furniture and decorative arts designer. He was born on July 12, 1965, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Ligtelijn developed a passion for design and craftsmanship from a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the field.

Ligtelijn studied at the prestigious Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, where he honed his skills in furniture design and woodworking. During his time at the academy, he embraced the principles of the Dutch design movement, known for its minimalist and functional approach.
