Throughout his career, Albini collaborated with various manufacturers and design firms, including Poggi, Cassina, and Arflex. He designed a wide range of furniture pieces, from chairs and tables to shelving units and lamps. One of his most iconic works is the "Veliero" bookcase, created in 1940, which features a lightweight, open structure resembling a ship's mast and sails. Albini's designs were characterized by their clean lines, geometric shapes, and use of innovative materials. He was particularly known for his use of rattan, a material he believed perfectly combined strength and flexibility. His rattan furniture pieces, such as the "Margherita" and "Gala" chairs, became highly sought after and are considered timeless classics. In addition to his furniture designs, Albini also made significant contributions to architecture. He championed the use of modern materials, such as glass and steel, and believed in creating spaces that were functional and adaptable to the needs of the users.
