Angelo Mangiarotti (February 26, 1921 – June 1, 2012) was an Italian architect, industrial designer, and furniture designer. He was born in Milan, Italy. Mangiarotti studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, where he graduated in 1948. He later pursued a career in architecture and design, establishing his own studio in Milan in 1953. Throughout his career, Mangiarotti gained recognition for his innovative approach to design and his ability to seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics. He was known for his modernist designs that emphasized clean lines, simplicity, and practicality.
